You will be asked to fill out an audition information packet.
Please Bring:
Up to date Headshot, Resume, Character shoes or jazz shoes, Sheet Music (16 bars of an up-tempo and 16 bars of a ballad or a piece that best compliments your voice, in the correct key-accompanist WILL NOT transpose.) Be prepared to sing the ENTIRE piece if asked. Monologue (60 second Monologue. Have a contrasting piece prepared if asked) Movable Clothing and a smile.
Technicians: Please bring resume and work portfolio.
Also needed for the show: 2 violinists, 1 guitar player, 1 upright bassist, and 1 pianist. Instrumentalists play written music parts in the show.

When
preparing for auditions:
Dancers: be warm and ready to
go at audition call time. If you
are a “mover” please
attend the dance auditions.
Singers: need to prepare
32 bars of an up-tempo and a ballad. Please also be prepared
to sing the entire song, if asked. All singers are encouraged
to attend the dance auditions so that your movement ability
may be assessed.
Actors: need to prepare a monologue
of your choice, not to exceed 90 seconds. Have a contrasting
monologue prepared as well. All actors are encouraged
to attend the dance auditions so that your movement ability
may be assessed.
Actors/singers: same
requirements as above; prepare the song and monologue
of your choice and have additional material prepared
as the director may ask for more.
*The combined audition
with song and monologue should be no longer than two
minutes, unless noted differently by the director.
